Punjab University PU

Punjab University Lahore was established in 1882 and it was the fourth university, which British Colonial system established in Indo Pak sub Continent. University of the Punjab is established in Lahore and its three campuses are set up in Jhelum, Khanspur and Gujranwala. There are 13 faculties in Punjab University along with 10 constituent colleges and 73 departments, institutes and centers. Punjab University employs 808 faculty members in all of the departments. About 36000 students are getting education in different faculties and colleges of Punjab University. It has two noble award winner laureates named Dr Abdus Salam and Har Gobind Khorana.

Punjab University is affiliated with Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Pakistan Engineering Council and it is considered number university in Pakistan, which is busy in providing quality of education to the students to higher classes of MPhil and PhD. All the government and private colleges of Punjab are affiliated with Punjab University and their students appear in the annual exams of BA/BSc and MA/MSc with Punjab University.  In the Gujranwala campus of Punjab University, education is being imparted in the faculty of Law, Science, Management Sciences, Economics and Commerce. In the Jhelum campus, education is being given to the students in the faculty of Law, Management Sciences, Economics, Science and Commerce. Khanspur is the summer campus of Punjab University, which is located near Ayubia.

The exams department of University of the Punjab announces the exams schedule of all faculties at different levels. Exams department announces the start of the annual and supply exams of graduation and post graduate programs. Students can send their application forms at their earliest and PU date sheets of the respective department is issued to the students so that they can appear in the exams of BA/BSc, MA/MSc, B.Com, B.Ed, M.Ed, M.Com, MS and MPhil in different faculties. The exams department also announces the Punjab University Result of the annual exams of all these programs at different times, when their results are ready.
